If grace had a name, it would be Carly. After her dream wedding at the Legion of Honor was canceled because of an upcoming art exhibition, Carly took it all in stride and quickly pivoted her plans to the Asian Art Museum, a historic beaux-arts building in downtown San Francisco. We decided to highlight the architecture of the Museum with soft lighting and complementary tones. Samsung Hall - a stunning room with soaring ceilings and ornate moldings - was the backdrop to both the ceremony and dinner. The ceremony was simply lit with pillar candles, giving the large room feel cozy and intimate vibe. While guests cocktailed on the Loggia, we flipped Samsung Hall into an elegant yet modern dinner space with a combination of high and low florals, all in soft cream and white tones, offset by warm grey tablecloths and ghost chairs. Guests danced the night away to the musical stylings of Chris Clouse. Carly & Garrett got their perfect city museum wedding after all.
