The couple had been to Venice many times before and selected the Aman Venice as the perfect backdrop for their intimate winter wedding. The Church of San Gregio dei Greci was selected for their Greek Orthodox ceremony and after a candlelit service, the bride & groom and their 60 guests would take wooden water taxis through the Grand Canal, sipping hot chocolate and prosecco, before returning to Aman for the reception. Dinner was served on the 1st Noble Floor of the Palazzo. The ornately frescoed room did not need much decoration – 2 long tables were set with florals in Murano glass vases and lined with 3’ taper candles. After a distinctly Venetian 4-course feast, guests took the long staircase down to the ground level where they were greeted with servers holding traditional Venetian paper masks to dance the night away.
